Shipping

Several shipping options are displayed during checkout. Prices start at just $1.00, but note the following:

Regular letter: this is the cheapest option and is available if you're ordering 1 or 2 regular Metal Earth kits. This is sent using the standard Australia Post letter service which is cheap, but slower than parcels. No tracking is provided.

Priority letter: arrives one day faster than the regular service, but it's still sent as a letter with no tracking.

Parcel: both regular and express parcel services are available and in these cases tracking is provided. Our preferred shipper is Fastway as they provide tracking and signature on delivery for an affordable price. You must select an Australia Post option when sending to post boxes or parcel lockers.

About the Melbourne W-Class tram

This iconic Australian tram was born in 1923 and can still be found doing the rounds of Melbourne streets today. Trams and cable cars both run on tracks, but their methods of propulsions are very different. A cable car grips onto a constantly moving underground cable, whereas a tram is powered by an onboard electric motor that is connected to overhead wires via roof-mounted trolley poles. Wikipedia
