Shipping within Australia

  • Free shipping: for any products where the total is over $100 (if ordering just Robotime, you only need to spend $50 to get free shipping)
  • $10 shipping for most orders under $50
  • Some thin items such as Metal Earth from $3
  • Express Post from $13
  • Orders are despatched within 1 business day
  • We ship using Australia Post
  • Stock is available for immediate delivery from our Sydney warehouse

Standard Post

  • 2 to 8 business days
  • Sent using Australia Post Parcel Post
  • Includes tracking

Express Post

  • 1 to 4 business days
  • Sent using Australia Post Express Post
  • Includes tracking

Letter Post

  • 2 to 6 business days
  • Sent using Australia Post letter service. This is slower than the parcel service
  • Includes tracking
  • DO NOT select this option if sending to a Parcel Locker

Gifts

Buying a gift and want it straight to your recipient? 

  • We do not include invoices in the packing but you will receive an electronic copy
  • It's your responsibility to ensure it arrives, so if your recipient is unaware that you're sending a gift, please monitor the Australia Post tracking

Phone

Providing your phone number on the checkout page is optional, but we recommend it as it's the fastest way to clarify something or resolve a problem.


Local Pickup

THIS OPTION IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE DURING CHECKOUT - contact us if you wish to pickup. 

We can arrange for your item(s) to be collected from the South Turramurra Post Office, which has long trading hours, including Saturday morning.

  • We will contact you when you item is ready for collection.
  • The post office does this as a favour for us and they don't have much storage space, so please collect within 3 days.
  • Print your receipt and show this to the staff at the post office. Advise them that you're collecting a parcel from DIY Kits.

Undelivered Items

Your items might be undeliverable for several reasons including:

  • an incorrect delivery address was supplied
  • the selected shipping option required a signature, but no one was available to sign for the item or a calling card was left, but the item was not collected from the post office (Australia Post).

The item needs to be returned to us before we can take further action. At that point, if you want your order to be redelivered, a delivery fee will be charged. If you decide to cancel the order, a restocking fee will apply, equal to our original postage charge.

If an item is not delivered due to our mistake, as soon as it is returned we will either resend it correctly or refund you in full.

Damaged Goods

We will of course compensate you for items that are damaged in transit but we need your help. The Australia Post policy requires you to visit your local post office and show them the damage. Without this proof we are unable to make a claim against Australia Post and as such this process needs to be followed in order to receive a refund or new item.
